I am inspired to serve God and people because of my family and my church. Since I was young, my parents took me on mission trips where I saw people helping children, supporting families, and sharing hope with communities in need.
This time, I decided to take my own step of faith. At 12 years old, I chose to give my own savings and my time to serve children who need Jesus, hope, encouragement, and support. I traveled with my church mission team to help organize activities for kids, spend time with them, pray with them, and share my personal story about how God helped me through difficult and scary moments in life.
There were times when I felt afraid or when it seemed like there was no way out, but I saw God provide new friends, new opportunities, and hope when I needed it most. Because of these experiences, I want other children to know they are not alone and that God loves them and can help them too.
